DUNCAN BELL
Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology

Duncan Grant Bell is a teacher at Centurion Christian School in Pretoria, South Africa. He graduated in 2019 with a BA in Bible and Theology. He has a burning passion to tell young men about the awesome reality of living life, serving Christ. This is made evident by his longing to “see an entire generation of men, rising up, and serving as godly people” – as he states it, himself. Positioned as left wing (wink-wink), Duncan is a huge football (a.k.a. soccer) fan. Some other things that fancy his interest outside of work include poetry, sports, building puzzles, and playing board games.
JOHAN BRAND

Johan Brand has been in ministry for over four years, working with young people. He is currently a youth worker at Mosaïek Church in Johannesburg, South Africa. Johan formely served as the coordinator of the Year of Your Life gap year programme at Hatfield Christian Church, in Pretoria. He has completed his BTheol degree in 2019, and is currently pursuing post-graduate studies in theological research. Johan seeks to make the world a better place for future generations, with the hope that truth will eventually conquer. When he is not working or studying, he spends his time reading, writing poetry, making music, and hanging out with friends. It’s his dream to one day reside near the shoreline, cultivating the art of surfing.
JOSHUA McQUIRK

As founder of TheoLogic, Bro. Joshua G.A. McQuirk has a fervent belief that many young Christians are searching for more academic doctrine. This aspiration of a deeper understanding, alongside his passion for writing, led him to the birth of this movement. In 2018, Joshua graduated with a BA in Christian Education. He presently works as a youth coach – representing Kohin – at Die Wilgers High School in Pretoria, South Africa. Even though he finds fulfilment in doing what he does – according to Josh – getting paid to sleep would be his dream job. With his heart for people, his ambitious, passionate, and zealous personality illustrates that he will achieve whatever he sets his mind to. In his free time, he enjoys a game of competitive six-down touch rugby.
STÉPHAN WEILBACH
Bachelor of Theology

Stéphan Weilbach calls South Africa his home and he was not born in 1795. He is currently devoting his time to research in the theological field. He spent three years in full time ministry at Hatfield Christian Church, as he finished his BTheol degree. He has recently taught at a private school in South Korea and presently finds himself travel-studying. Stéphan values love, kindness, and respect – these three being the main drive in both his career choices as well as his research. Hobbies, well he enjoys all of them … from classical music on vinyl to gaming. If you see him and are wondering whether sanity prevails, do not fear, Christ prevails in his life. He also enjoys long walks on the beach and long sleeps in his bed.
Our Vision
TheoLogic aspires to see the majority of young Christians
(18 – 30 yrs) equipped and empowered to answer the difficult questions within the Christian faith.
In this manner, we anticipate that when they go through difficult times, they will be able to fall back on a true and solid
foundation of doctrine.
Thus, we aim to create a safe, honest, and healthy community
(both virtually and in reality) where the authentic questions of the heart can be asked without judgement, and answered with
gentleness and love.
